Hello everyone!
I have been trying for the past few days (unsucessfully) to switch from WEU to JassNewGen and EGUI.
The problem? Plenty: Much unused and garbage code, variables which are completely useless, "Advanced" spells and the like which are not useable any more and so forth and so on.
Also, Jasshelper reports some strange syntax errors which I am completely unable to fix.
I have tried various things, but all have either failed, or didn't bring me much further (I should mention that I am quite a newbie when it comes to the technical stuff)
This is why I would like to try something a bit more... radical: Simply create a new map, and import everything which is important, and leave out everything from WEU.
This is where I need help, however.
If anyone could tell me all the files I would have to export from the Map-MPQ, and reimport in a new map (which has the correct boundaries), and which then would lead to the map saving itself correctly (without the garbage), I would be very grateful.
Likewise, if anyone has a simpler solution to this problem, I would also be glad to hear it.
Thanks in advance and of course +rep for the one who provides the solution.
Yours,
Ouguiya
