Custom map fatal errors..

Hi,

A map ive been working has some major issue wich causes it to crash (fatal error). Here's what i know:
-The Map only crashes in multiplayer games (battle net, hamachi and the likes).
So i havent been able to reproduce the crash in a single player/lan game.
-The fatal errors give different error codes each time.
-The crash occurs at completely random times, if at all..
-When the crash occurs, all players get the error.

I've tried every thing i could think of (bad triggers etc), maybe some one here can help.

The map is too big to attach to the post.

Did you make the map Or you just modify it?Are you using hacks wich might crash the game?

I made this map, angel arena x 2010 in particular, the first angel arena was been made by lildevilchild (and theres lots of other AA maps out there). Im not using hacks, the map does not contain any cheats if thats what you mean..

if others are playing the map and its working either the file on your computer is corrupted and causing crashes or a wc3 file is corrupted and causing it to crash, most installs are corrupted in one way or another, some hashtable loads on mine cause crashes, i suggest replacing the file with the one on epicwar.com first then if that doesnt work id reinstall wc3

When some one else hosts the map in an online game it has the same potential fatal error. The file on epicwar is the one i uploaded, so it should be identical to the one i have on my pc. Is there a way to fix a corrupt map file? And/or what can cause such corruption to the map file?

lots of things can corrupt a map file, if it was copied incorrectly, closed midway through saving, and other ways... the file can become corrupted after it was uploaded, or like i said part of wc3 could be corrupted

Edit: i just read the image u put on the original post... pretty sure thats a corrupted wc3 file, it cant access what it needs to read part of the map file, i could be wrong though

Ja I'm going to agree with GFreak45. That error message is telling you that your war3.exe file is broken. a re-install another another copy with a crack should do the trick.

i'll do a reinstall asap. I got multiple warcraft(s) on my comp (like 3 of em) with different versions each for Bnet, garena, gameranger etc.
How do i "un-corrupt" the map file? If i make a new map file, and import all the triggers, and redo the terrain, units and doodads, will that help?

Edit: I keep forgetting to mention, i dont know in wich version the corruption started to occur but it was way before v11f . Since the fatal errors started to occur i have made many newer versions with big changes.

I have the same issue, its quite boring and totally boring, it even dont happen in most of the cases but still, its annoying when you past hours to work on your map and a waste of time to host it on MMH when it crashes in Mid-game...

Nobody can help us ?

Usually the mid-crashes are either memory leaks, buggy scripts, or logic errors (very hard to debug).

There should be some way of obtaining crash error logs. It's been so long since I left the mapmaking scene.

Use IO to log everything (function entry and exit for the beginning), then you know if it is related to your code and which functions are the culprits. There is even a library (DebugIO) that does all of the technical details for you.
