Help with spell

I want to make a spell where you activate the spell, and until cancled you cannot move but have a 50% chance to evade and deal more damage = [ can any one help me with this?

Make an ability based off Bear Form, and make a double of the unit that has the skill.
The second unit has no movement speed and 50% more damage.
Replace the first unit with the second one when Bear Form is used.

would i need a trigger to make this beacuse i am confused on what to do with defend when it comes to giving me evasion and a damage bonus and making them unable to move. i know i can do when unit casts an ability equal to defend than make movment speed of unit to 0% but i feel it will be more complicated than that as well as the evasion and damage bonus

ok so i got that all set up except for damage increase and evasion... so i just make a trigger to give them those abilites when Defend is cast? but how would i remove the abilites?

So it's a one time skill? Just remove the skill. Check if the unit cancels defend, and then just remove the defend skill. I'm not sure if you can check defend cancellation, so maybe you should use dummy abilities.

what im trying to do is a unit cancels a spell based on defend, the unit cannot move but gains 50% increased evasion and damage, and until the spell based off defend is canceled the unit cant move, but when he does cancel the spell the evasion and damage spell goes away.

what is wrong with this trigger... nothing happends when he casts the ability

All I think would make a diffrence is if you change the event to starts the effect of an ability

Remove Movement

how do i make it so a unit cannot move after casting a spell.... i have it set up like this and its not working... someone please help!

    • Events
      • Unit - A unit Begins casting an ability

You can pause the unit. And you should do a unit finishes casting an ability

You can do this:
Code:
A unit finishes casting a ability

Ability being casted equal to your ability

Trigger: Add event: A unit is orderd issued point on a point
Order unit to stop

ok so the ability is like defend.... he begins casting defend and he is unable to move but gets a 50% evasion skill... when he stops casting the defend ability he loses the evasion skill but can move again.....

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
