it does not happen on every map but the recent ones i dled always have pink cubes on their maps like dark invasion II or guild of hyppos or tkok...

how to remove them?

pink/green cubes = no valid model.
might be that you downloaded a corrupted map or the map got corrupted while downloading.

like all maps are corrupted then, because dark invasion II appear also

Try downloading a map directly from a site, like http://www.mapgnome.org/ or http://www.epicwar.com/

Dudes, this used to happen to me and my friends ALL The time, but not just after we downloaded them either. It happened to us when we'd play games like SoTDRP or something. All we had to do was restart wc3 and it was fine. Hope that's the solution to your problem.
