How do I enable AUTO CASTING on custom hero spells?

You can't, unless the base is already auto castable.
 
the easy way is to make ability based on spell that has auto casting
 
go to Object editor > go to Unit Panel > select your hero > find for default active ability

place your custom hero spell inside default active ability

[p.s.] i guess that might makes your auto-cast spell activable if your computer plays that particular hero <3
 
nope I tried that default active ability, I just cant get autocast to work.

I tried using that cyprt lord beetle, but I cant get that to work without having to use corpse, and I think there is a 24 beetle max you can set on it only.

Anyway, an ability either is or it isn't auto-castable.
You can't change that.


"Default active" is used to start an auto-cast ability as "turned on already" when the unit enters the map.

by the way, at least tell us how your want your spell to function right?

base your spell on friendly auto-cast spells if you want it to cast on allies
- frost armor
- heal
- inner fire

base your spell on bad auto-cast spells if you want it to cast on enemies
- curse
 
I need a spell that summons units that can autocast also, I cant get the beetles spell to work cuz it has a 24 unit max cap, and I cant get rid of the "corpse needed" for the spell

    I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.

    I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
