Damnit lol, last time I made a sig, I was told to make the render blend in

I'll try making it stand out..

Well its because you render is the same color of the background, you only blend it when the colors are not the same.

That's much better with the render standing out more.

Try taking colors from your render and make them as the backround (my tutorial covers that) and you can use brushes and change the layer modes to make it have the colors and have the brushed look.

EDIT: By the way, I like how you blended the render into the backround color. How did you do that?

I honestly can't remember, I usually just mess around with the options until it looks good I'll see if I can find out what I did.

OK. In GIMP that tranfers to lighten only I think. I just needed to know the method of how (filter, layermode, paths, ect.).

Hint to blend a render =

1. select render layer

2 use LASSO tool and select area which is NOT to be blended

3. right click and select inverse.

4. right click and select feather (hgher radius equals more blened - Lower equels less blended)

5. hit delete untill u find what u like.

You can just do alpha to selection on the render layer...

You must not have GIMP then. It takes the alpha in the layer (transparency) and adds it to your selection. Also when I said blended into the backround I meant the colors, not the outline.
