Newgen crashes when saving

Now I'm getting the same error message as Somatic

I DO NOT have a cracked version and it's fully updated (AFAIK).
I installed the latest NewGen directly over my old one. I was unaware that I was using the previous .exe file.
The old exe name is NewGen WorldEditor.exe.
The latest one is NewGen WE.exe.

I just switched over to using the latest one (because when reading Somatics thread I looked for the Common.J file to help him with his problem,) only to find that I too did not have the common.j file in my main folder. And that I was using a two month old exe file.

Now I'm getting the same error with the latest NewGen.
I can still access NewGen with the older one.

I'm going to try a fresh install to a different directory to see if things are conflicting.

Edit: Fresh NewGen install seems to fix whatever the problem was. Must've been Retarded User Error or something.

You don't need to install NewGen. Just extract your newgen folder to somewhere else can run the NewGen WE will do. And, why directly over to your old one? You could just extract it to somewhere else other than the old folder...

Yeah, same directory may produce conflication.

install == extract into a directory

I thought I'd save some HD space by installing over the old one. I know. I saved 45kb thats way! I know!

Like I said. Must've been that dang Retarded User Error.
