Opening wc3 campaign maps

Just a little something I've always wondered; can I open the maps in the original RoC and TFT campaigns? If I can, how so?

I'm pretty sure it's possible.
I think you have to open up some MPQ file in the Warcraft folder.

Actually, that's incorrect. All of the campaigns are openable, here's how you get them:

• War3.mpq has all of the RoC campaigns in the \Maps\Campaign folder.
  
• War3xlocal.mpq has all of the TFT campaigns in the \Maps\FrozenThone\Campaign folder.
  
• War3patch.mpq has the "Founding of Durotar" campaign in the \Maps\FrozenThrone\Campaign folder.

how do you open them ?
