Paladin, Priest, or Druid healers?

Well, this is basically what the title suggests.

Would you prefer to have a Paladin Healer, a Priest Healer, or a Druid Healer in your group? Which do you think is better?


From what I hear, paladins never run out of mana. Spam Flash of Light FTW.

Priests are priests. Healing is what they do. (Well, you know what I mean)

And Druids I hear are pretty great too. I don't have any personal experience with Druid Healers, but word gets around.


If you are wondering why I ask, call it both a cat's curiosity and my quest for WoW knowledge. It's always good to hear the opinions of others.

(NOT to play, but for healing purposes. I don't care how boring one particular class may be. )

lol, it's a tough decision, but i'm gonna go with Palidan, all though i do miss the stam buff, they have unlimited rez (compared to druids 1 rez) and they are very mana convinient, not to mention they have more armor for when they accidently pull somthing

If we're talking about pure healing and not taking buffs and other abilities into account, I'd say druid, they have the strongest direct heal in the game - Healing Touch, and they can stack HoTs like crazy.

Taking other abilities into account though, it'd be paladins, specialised buffs own; Priest's fortitude doesn't do much for dps classes, whereas BoM/BoS/BoW/BoK are godsends, and don't forget that multiple paladin buffs stack.

Howcome there's no shamans on the list? Windfury totem ftw.

Can cast 2 types before entering a battle.

I can't really choose one - but for pure healing, being a mage, it doesn't really matter. Pretty much the same when I am tanking on my pala (non-70,) as long as they heal me
When I am healing myself tho, I really like druid... You don't have to time as crucial, and H-Touch is just soo mana efficient.

Priests or paladins tbh. In 5-man instances, I think I go priests, in 10+, paladins.

It all depends on who is playing the character.

I have a friend who has a shammy, and challenged a priest t oa healing duel

For those wh don't know, they went into an instance, 2 warriors got critically injured, they left the instance, they whomever healed the fastest won.

Needless to say mr.Uber-Shammy pwnd the Priest, by a lot. I can't recall all the spells he used though

Paladin in a 5-men instance, for sure, druid for a 3v3 arena team and a paladin for 2v2. Im not so sure about priests though, but that's because I, strangely enough, barely have teamed up with a priest when it comes to 5-men instances, or arena.

Heres the dea
Priests run out of mana quick but have insane mp5 plus big ass heals
Druids - lots of HoT's usually don't run OOM unless they have 2 battle rez and waste their mana Regen spell on a priest
Paladins - a good geared paladin will usually finish battle with more than 50% if they don't use holy light much even then i spammed rank 5 holy light like 500 mana for around 3 minutes for healing tank Mage for high king
Resto Shaman - Run out of mana very quick but nice for aoe heal with chain heal or whatever it is called

I prefer druid healer for 5 man and then for 10 man priest/[druid,paladin,shaman]/paladin Paladin for the nice greater buffs. 25 man our guild went with 3 paladin healers, 2 priest 2 resto druid and a shamn for gruul some times we go more druid or shaman, but usually 3 paladins

Overall even though my main char is paladin i like druid over all except in arena where paladins are best.

palidan, palidans can fight, wear plate mail, and heal, not useless (although I love the horde). I prefer balance druids.

Nah, comon. Free honor? Don't think so. As a doomkin you got pretty decent dps I would say, atleast that was what I experienced during my days as a balance druid. I were cloth/leather-geared then, so warriors, rogues and feral druids gave me a hard time in close combat, but with barkskin and roots/cyclone, it rarely became a problem.
Locks are hard though -.-

And don't forget our tree best buddies; Treants!

Priests are priests its the healing what they do,NO!!!Priests can be shadow too,shadow priests are awesome =) i pref them.but if u are holy priest u heal best.Holy Priest is for me best healer.

Everyone thinks that priests suck.. which makes me sad i know for a fact i can outheal any pally or druid its just there are more druids and pallys then priests, and that means that there are more skillful players on those classes.. But a great priest healer would outheal a great druid or pally healer.. you just need to know how to play (=
