Problem with doom spell

Unfortunately i cant find how to setup max lvl uf unit/hero for doom spell... any help ?

ps. i tried to search abt that, but i didnt have success....

There should be a field called 'Levels' just set that to a higher number. :)

i think its only for lvl 5 units and below...i didnt find it either

how about triggering it like, if the dying unit has a doom buff, create a unit

Meh you are right, I just checked.
Usually, things like this can be set there. Seems it is an exception, or something. :\

ye there are trigers, but what is best to use as base for some dps spell?
what to use so buff which i create cant be dispelled/purged?

the easyest is to create unit :)

thats kinda not help, since i want to use it on heroes, and they arent below lvl5 always :nuts:

It may be impossible to do. (Other than triggers, of course.) I have one suggestion. Try changing the Check Dependencies to false.

Errr...

Why not just use triggers? it can be done with two very simple trigger.


E -A unit starts the effect of an ability
C - Ability being cast equal to Doom
A - Set Doom_Caster = Triggering Unit

E - A unit dies
C - Triggering units has buff Doom equal to true
A - Create 1 Doom Guard for Doom_Caster at postion of triggering unit facing default building degrees

That is not MUI, and it still needs the part where the unit loses health.

Doom is like the worst editable spell ever.

If you add levels to it, don't expect working results.

You also cannot edit which creeps are affected by the spell ;)

if u want a simmilar doom to dota that also summons a unit, base ur abillity to soul burn and create a trigger like

E: unit starts the effect of an ability
C: ability being cast equal to soul burn
A: if target unit of ability being cast has buff soul burn
then turn on trigger summon
else do nothing

summon
E: unit dies
C: dying unit has buff soul burn
A: unit create 1 doom guard for player 1 at position of triggering unit

but what should be doomspell there? if u use orginal doom that will not work on units >lvl6...

now i saw other post, that would probably work :)

thats why you base off ur spell on soul burn, because soul burn can be used to lvl 5 and above, but doesnt summon, thats why i added a trigger, to summon a unit if a dying unit has a buff soul burn...

just change the name of soul burn to doom and change the icon, then copy the triggers then finish, it works like original doom

What? Dying units don't have buffs.

And as for the heroes are not always below level 5, I think they are. There is a constant what "unit level" are the heroes are, on all levels. I'd bet you can set that in gameplay constants, though I can't find it now D:
