Hi... Does anyone from europe know how much it's gonna cost in germany?
Maybe not exactly in germany, but in euros...

Ty...

In Holland the normal game will be €59,99 (or €54,99 pre-order)
and €99,99 (€89,99 pre-order) for the Collectors Edition.

Just get the american version for low ... imports are cheap from euro countries. The german translation sucks anyways (at least the beta translation does ... dunno how that differs from when the game goes gold)

You're missing the current currency weakness: The Euro is soaring down to currently 1,27 USD/EUR (kudos to Hellas); given the extra shipping fees plus import taxes, you'll be lucky to actually beat German retail pricings. But you're right on the translation. Another issue is German USK hammering on every single red pixel in entertainment software unless it's supposed to represent the fluffy twinky-pinky suit of some red Teletubby (I think its called Poo or sth). Obviously, the German Version of SC will be cut to meet with kindergarten-standards - I can already imagine some late fixes before release changing guns, rifles and ammo to candy bars, lollipops and jelly babies in the hope of further maximizing sales numbers.

Hmm ... but let us not forget the pixelation and censorship of US imports when it comes to nipples ... :D

lol just buy it from the uk as every smart european :D
Ive ordered quite early when sc2 was at 21 pounds so now ill get 2 boxes of sc2 for less than 60 euros total (about 50-55 with shipping)
Ofc if you order now youll still get it for ~ 40 euros (compared to the 55 euros retail price in germany... which is still 5 euros below the recommended retail price :D)

News portal has been retired. Main page of site goes to Headline News forum now
  • The Helper The Helper:
I am working on getting access to the old news portal under a different URL for those that would rather use that for news before we get a different news view.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Easily done

https://www.thehelper.net/pages/news/ is a link to the old news portal - i will integrate it into the interface somewhere when i figure it out
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Need to try something
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Hopefully this won't cause problems.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Hmm
  • Ghan Ghan:
I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    See how we like that.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
  • Ghan Ghan:
Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.
  • Ghan Ghan:
It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.
  • Ghan Ghan:
I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
  • The Helper The Helper:
I don't really get that article forum but I think it is because I have never really seen it used on a multi post thread
  • Ghan Ghan:
RpNation makes more use of it right now as an example: https://www.rpnation.com/news/
