Terraining Contest 3! Starts May 10th.

I'll enter...something or other (depends on how much time I have ). By the way, if you're being allowed to do battle scenes and whatnot, isn't this really more of a screenshot contest than just a "terrain" contest?

I brought this up before the server crash, but nobody responded. Some clarification on *how much* of the focus actually needs to be on terrain/doodads would be nice....

No.. if this were a screenie contest.. you'd get to go out places and take pictures and se who had the best.

Screenies is just a more secure way of competing, if you send in the map, chances are some will take it and use it.

The doodads and that can be used as often as you like but you want to capture every detail of whatever map you're doing, space, detail, everything.

ALSO: I would like to say something i just discovered. Sometimes when you zoom out too much the terrain gets black, but if you hold Shift+Ctrl + Right mouse button and drag the mouse down the limit will become much longer away, you can zoom out really long without getting black areas.
not sure if it works for all. but it did for me

dont give into intimidation.. i hope 2-P enters, it'd be interesting to have real competition

also.. im a bit confused.. you say not to turn in any screen shots until may 10th, but you dont say ANYTHING about making your map before then.. am i mistaken?

mousewheel zooms for me, maybe its just you :/.

if you hold ctrl while using the mousewheel it should move the blackness.
if you just use the wheel by itself it zooms.

(no offense but that's pretty much like saying you don't like terraining :/).

Not many of the new regular's have seen Jimpy's work, so they don't think he's as good as you (but trust me guys, i've seen alot of his work ).
