You know, I recently visits bunch of gaming forums. Their I met people who played WoW.. And as what they say, they said that WoW only lives because of this chinese gold farmers.. They also said that WoW owns every MMORPG in the world(Like that will happen).. Again, they said that WoW gets repititive fast and it has a very bad community..

Sure I know nothing about WoW but my opinion came from this people.. Of the Thousands of People on that forum, this is their opinion about WoW and so am I influenced by this opinions, I can say that I would adopt their opinion into my own...

Stop drifting into different areas, you said everyone was bots, I said they weren't. I was right, and you were wrong and that's all there was to it.

By the way, in terms of player base and most other areas, WoW does own every current MMO at the moment.

Sure I know nothing about WoW
Then stop posting in a thread you can't relate back to at all.

Don't go speaking for other people or things that you've heard. Till you play the game (Or at least know something about it) don't make judgments about it.

In my opinion the only way WoW is going to completely die is if Blizzard just shuts the servers down and quit it. People are always going to be playing. It might eventually be unpopular but there will still be "old time gamers" who will still enjoy the game greatly and play in their down time. Just like you still see people who play Starcraft, Warcraft 2, and Diablo. (It might be a little different since it is a MMORPG that you have to play for.)

There always has been a difference between an opinion and facts.

One fact, for example, is that if you browse through the WoW forums, you'll see a lot of WoW whining posts. People who don't like how the game is meant to be played, but they still play the game.

An example of opinion is this thread.

A rather important fact though is that the WoW community is ever-growing, whether players whine or not about the game - they are addicted ;)

Another fact is that for each 1000 happy players 1 will make a post on the forums. And that each unhappy player will make about 1000 posts on the same forums.

As an interesting note, i have seen the same person "quit" 11-12 times in one month a few years ago. And guess what? He is still active.

I started WOw March of 2006, and quit April 9th 2007, the only reason i left WOW and got unhooked from the game is because i found a girlfriend, lol...

the game was fun at first, because everything was new to me and it seemed like a huge epic adventure was ahead of me, and it felt this way for the first 3-4 months, then i fell into the pace of the game and all i wanted was to advance and jsut be the best, but wasn't really having fun... then after a while it was like, "why am i playing this". i'm not saying its a bad game, because its a great game, it just really depends on how long u can stand playing a game. for me it was almost a year.

i've been tyhinking of going back and playing again lately but i keep saying "Whats the point in paying $30 jsut to get bored after a week and quit again?"

i think wants it hits the point where its just old time gamers, and everyone else has moved on the game might actually drop to $10, $5, or possibly even free in 5 or so years.

WoW will not as long as it keeps make expansions and steal other game ideas.
Which isn't a bad thing. I would play game that stole all its ideas for other games and put it in to one game. But the only reason I still play wow is because of the PvP it actually gives a point to the game. With the new system for PvP and arenas it is so awesome.

How I see it. WoW is like my life. I never played it. But it sounds like it. I like something. I get hooked on it. Then play it a lot and get addited. Then you play it too much and you start to get bored and 'quit'. Then one day comes and you have nothing to do so you play it again after like a few days, weeks, months, etc. Then you get rehooked.
