Townhall Not Detected

I've created a new Townhall, and it has all the basic requirements like adding it to techtree dependencies.

As I read in another thread, AceHart said this:

You also tried this the other way around? Putting the Temple on the Town Hall?
I don't quite get what you mean by 'Putting the Temple on the Town Hall'. Could someone help?
 
i think the temple is also the techtree, so should be adding temple into the techtree
 
I did that, it doesn't work. You still get the message that you will be revealed in 2 minutes unless you construct a Townhall.
 
what is your problem? if your problem is that >>> you have a custom town hall and want to set it as your main hall but the game can't detect it. That is probably you never change the value in gameplay constant.

go there, scroll down until you see techtree dependency equivalents, add your town hall into the value. They are classified as human, orc, night elf and undead.
 
I did that.. it doesn't work. I don't want to replace a hall, I just want to add another one. My map selects races via dialogs. :(
 
you don't want to replace the hall in there? can't, you must remove the hall and replace it with your custom hall.

even if your map select races via dialog, still that is custom race, not the race by default of war craft 3, please don't force the warcraft to match as your custom race. You gonna match your map to warcraft 3.

Copy/pasting another town hall and changing its model works for me just fine man, you sure you're not just changing a field you shouldn't be using? Also change the townhall stat for race to the correct one that the faction is using. Just because I've had stuff scrw up from that in the past, like adding the undead gold mine ability to non-undead guys.

That would work the best:rolleyes:. That and the model changing.

Warcraft 3 does the revealing thing when you don't have a town hall.(we all know that)
When you have made a custom town hall you can't use that as widely as the originals. Warcraft 3 looks for your town hall depending on your race. If you are orc you need to have orc's townhall, when you are human...

If you want to use custom town halls your map can't have the option to select random race, if a player has random race, you can't detect it and create the appropriate dummytownhall.:(

    It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while

    Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.

    I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
