Hi guys! I'm back for some more abusing of you kind helper people :p. Okay this time I have a bluescreen problem...
0x00000024 (0x001902FE 0xa7bb3124 0xa7bb2e20 0x80515092)
This is the code i got when it crashed. This occurs at some random times when the computer is under a lot of load. The code is just one of many different i've seen.
Okay so I have no idea on how to read these codes so i thought someone here could help me a bit... :)

ADD: Okay I'm back with a new bluescreen code I got today :<. Here it is:
0x00000050 (0xE3F066FC, 0x00000001, 0xBF85E155, 0x00000001)
And something about "Win32k.sys"... Can someone help me with this one too (pretty pleease)?

My computer specs:
Intel core2duo e8400 3.00ghz
ati radeon 4850hd 512mb
2x Crucial BallistiX ddr2 1gb Ram
Asus p5q pro (mobo)

I believe that you might have a registry issue. I forget, I haven't had to deal with it for a long time, but you might try and look up a program called Regcure and see if that does anything for you. It happens because sometimes you install new programs over old programs that weren't totally uninstalled and it causes pile-ups, or because you downloaded malware or something that deleted files.

Thanks for the reply! This does seem to fit on my computer usage, so it might actually be the problem i have ! ;) I've recently had to manually delete a lot of stuff from my registry because a program said it was installed when it wasn't (Comodo Internet Security). I'll try Regcure and come back with any results =). I should maybe also add that i use CCleaner, Comodo System Cleaner, WinASO and Spybot's system integrity tools, all these are registry cleaners... XD

Well I'm just taking a guess. The only part of that code that you actually need to know is the first part (0x00000024), honestly I have no idea what the rest is, to me it's just hex, same as it is to you. But that code, 0x00000024, is registry corruption. I just looked it up to be sure, so get Regcure and give that a shot, and see if that does much, if not I'll see if I can find something else for you to try.

Okay so i run Regcure and it found over 500 errors :p But most of them were "File/path references" or "Empty registry keys" which doesn't sound too critical to me... But i'll wait and see if the bsod comes back. And if it does ill return here ;))))

oh and thanks a lot for taking the time to help me =D

Well it's not always critical files that are corrupted or missing. A lot of the time it's just poorly overwritten files or something that wasn't uninstalled properly, and I don't mean to say it's your fault because you're not doing it manually probably, and it creates pileups sometimes that it simply can't deal with, so it crashes to clear itself out.

Okay so today i had another bluescreen. But this time the code was different... I've written it in my first post so everyone can see it directly xd

News portal has been retired. Main page of site goes to Headline News forum now
  • The Helper The Helper:
I am working on getting access to the old news portal under a different URL for those that would rather use that for news before we get a different news view.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Easily done

  • The Helper The Helper:
https://www.thehelper.net/pages/news/ is a link to the old news portal - i will integrate it into the interface somewhere when i figure it out
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Need to try something
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Hopefully this won't cause problems.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    Hmm
  • Ghan Ghan:
I have converted the Headline News forum to an Article type forum. It will now show the top 20 threads with more detail of each thread.
  • Ghan Ghan:
    See how we like that.
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do not see a way to go past the 1st page of posts on the forum though
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is OK though for the main page to open up on the forum in the view it was before. As long as the portal has its own URL so it can be viewed that way I do want to try it as a regular forum view for a while
  • Ghan Ghan:
Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is with the pagination.
  • Ghan Ghan:
It SHOULD be there so I think it might just be an artifact of having an older style.
  • Ghan Ghan:
I switched it to a "Standard" article forum. This will show the thread list like normal, but the threads themselves will have the first post set up above the rest of the "comments"
  • The Helper The Helper:
I don't really get that article forum but I think it is because I have never really seen it used on a multi post thread
  • Ghan Ghan:
RpNation makes more use of it right now as an example: https://www.rpnation.com/news/
