umm ok now if u have played Roleplayers or evoles u should no wat i am talking about. I would like to no how u make a unit/building come out of ie: a science vessle. i have tried lookin at the triggers in evoles but i cant seem to find out how it works. :mad: if u could tell me that would be great thanks :confused:

This is easy.

I will be using a Roleplaying map for examples.

Create a Science Vessel for each player that are to get the units.

CONDITION
(always)
- Always
ACTION
(center location on unit)
- Center location at 'anywhere' to 'Player 1 Sci Vessel'
(preserve trigger)
- Preserve Trigger

You will need to change the location 'Player 1 Sci Vessel' to whichever location you want that has the ability to create the units.

CONDITION
(bring unit)
- Current player brings exactly 1 'Civilian' to 'Zergling'
ACTION
(create unit at location)
- Create 1 'Zergling' at 'Player 1 Sci Vessel'
(preserve trigger)
- Preserve Trigger

You need to again change locations and the units to create and set it so they work.

P.S. I made Desert Roleplayers RPG.

umm wait

ummm maybe i shoulda waited on the thanks cause i cant find the center location trigger i got center veiw but not location. i am using an older version of emerald staredit could that be it??? i dunno if u could give me a link to a newer version if that is it that would be great :confused:

it's listed as "Move Location"

it exists in the regular staredit that comes with the game (at least in the latest Starcraft patch version)

umm??


you can't centre the "anywhere" location...

the anywhere location is built in-- it covers the whole map, so moving it around is pointless.... right?

right.... plus i doubt you can move it around. You'll have to make a location specifically for that purpouse.... from the looks of it you want to use the location where the medic is poping up, so change anywhere to that marines location.

k, do the following. i think it works.

CONDITIONS
Current Player Brings at least 1 (!) to location (@).
ACTIONS
Creat 1 (#) at location ($) for current player
Preserve trigger


CONDITIONS
Always

(Move Location) Center Locaion labeled ($) on (%) owned by player 1 at location anywhere.


Index:
(!)= the unit u want to appear
(@)= like the unit in golems that u move on to a beacon to get units
(#)= the units that appear
($)= a location not being used
(%)= the unit u want the units to appear on
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I think this is how u do it

umm i looked at dnd advance and saw that it had one hole loacation around the hole map, so maby that would work

A location that is the size of the entire map is too big... it seems that if you move to the edges, the location cannot overlap the edges, so it will stay away from the edges, unless you make the location as small as the unit that is to make the units.

Use a location that is about 2x2 or 3x3 of the sci vessel.

No, the size of the Science Vessel would be too small--you could create maybe ten units there, then the location would be too small and the "cannot place units" error message would start popping up. A custom location the size of the map would probably work, since unit placement starts at the center of the stated location and works outward 'til a valid placement area is found. (although, if the center of the location is blocked by terrain to begin with, it can't always find a nearby vacant area within the location, so I'm not entirely sure how it works.)
