Well the graphics were never top-notch but I always liked them, the style and all, also the addons are cool. That was my favorite part.. but the best was when I first started playing.. I want that feeling agian..

Yeah the new systems and stuff were great, learning about all the new UI and all! It was awsome! But now I log into WoW and it's the same old same old.. 1-6 on keyboard, repeat, loot, heal.. .lol

Why to buy WotLK:

A). With the Achievement system, you'll be rewarded for exploring, cooking, fishing, questing.... and pretty much anything you can think of. The system makes a lot of mundane tasks feel more important. I've even discovered entire guilds that will just work together to hunt down Achievements.

B). Death Knights. With an amazing starting area and fun general mechanics, they can keeped you hooked all the way up to 80.

C). New mechanics: Two very interesting new mechanics were added to the game. One of which is the siege weapons/passenger mounts, which end up providing a larger variety of quests, and are the focal point of the new PvP areas, Strand of the Ancients and Wintergrasp.

C2): A new mechanic in which the game's state will alter based on your progress. For example, you'll have a quest to go retrieve spare parts for a flying machine. When you've given the quest giver all those parts, you'll see a new flying machine next to him that acts as a a nifty flight master.

That mechanic is used much more drastically, especially in the DK starting area.

D). The zones. They're amazing looking, their quests are sometimes epic, sometimes humorous, and sometimes just fun. The NPCs you interact with actually have a human quality to them, and it always looks like there's something going on within the towns.

E). New abilities! New talents! New profession!

F).The instances, in my opinion, have better design and more involving bosses, though I think in this area more could've been done.

That's not how it was for me. I made a human warlock, running around Elwynn forest, killing things and doing quests. Every time I killed a boar, I was all, omg teh boar died lololololol. It was amazing, I didn't even understand the concept of melee = bad as warlock. I looted a green dagger, when I tried to equip it, I was all wtf? when it said it would soul bind. Yeah, those were the days. I wish I still sucked and was blissfully unaware of it. To this day, Elwynn forest is my favorite starting area, I don't know why, maybe because I had my first WoW experience there.

I don't have wotlk, but all I can say is that it's a sad day when Arthas gets taken down. there are certain people/demons that just should not be beatable, archimonde and kel jeaden for example.

Wow I feel your pain. =( The first character I made was a gnome rogue. I would see people running around with their imps and I'd think "WHOA I WANT ONE!" Then people ran around with pets and I was thinking "Hey, how do I get one of those?" I was walking around and I would use anything with more armor than my previous one. I remember, questing in westfall, doing all the quests and constantly dieing. I remember getting ganked for the first time, in the deeprun tram. The person had full gladiator gear and he was a rogue. He was level ?? so I thought he was like a boss. I simply stepped away but I was on the same tram portion as him. I looked at him and he looked at me, and he 1 hit me. I thought to never go there again, so I resurrected in Elwynn. =D

The good old days, when I was oblivious. My first dungeons. Everything. It was soo fun. Now I know about all these macros and pvp and people are just so whiny, and it corrupted my mind to not enjoy the game as much. I will start to play again though, and I'll see what happens.

Oh please, the only reason Blizzard introduced blood elves is to get some of the 12-year old kiddos to the horde side, to the even the scale.

Also, never say never. They said the same about switching from PvE to PvP, and look what they did.
