WOW the movie?

i just knew blizzard is planning to make WOW the movie and hopefully release in 2009. so this movie is all animation just like Beowulf, right? man, i cant wait to see it. they should also make SC the movie and Diablo the movie. LOL if they have that much money.

I think they're making it on Warcraft, not specifically WoW... that doesn't really have a story does it?

o yea, i was thinking about that too. what will the story be? will it be just a simple war movie? i think they are gonna continue the story between Arthas and Illidan since blizzard didnt finish the cinematic the way they wanted in wc3. LOL!

I watched an interview where they said the main character isnt going to be any charaters we know from the warcraft lore, it's going to be 'some random adventurer-type guy' in the Alliance.

And it's going to take place one year before wow(three years after TFT) and will be about a new human character who will be fighting against orcs.

The biggest problem is that in those 4 years, nothing interesting happened at all. Small exeption being the Forsaken joining the horde and the breaking of the peace treaty(which is the first day in the wow story)

So the movie will either be more lore breaking then ever before, or abot the illegal gladiator fight circuit featured in the equaly lore breaking comic series.

In other words: commercial crap, just like the tcg, the new miniature game and the board game.

Warcraft, World of Warcraft, it's all the. Your character doesn't have a specific storyline, but instead youa re thrown into literally the World of Warcraft, it is an MMO. So it doesn't make a difference, it's in the World of Warcraft Universe.

So the movie will either be more lore breaking then ever before...

I guess it's a good thing I only know a portion of the lore. Otherwise, I would probably find it as much of a disappointment as the Eragon movie...

I am nto sure how true that is. Originally Blizzard had planned it to be about Humans vs. Orcs, about the more original Warcraft stuff, but then they decided it would be too much like LOTR.

Just remember kids, when fighting other kids, make sure your weapon is of a higher grade of material and that instead of wimping out, beat the living crap outa them before they do it to you. And dont' stop if they are bleeding, go until they are unconcious or dead. Then you truely are a part of WoW. Stronger weapons may include - real axes, baseball bats with jagged nails poking out, a chainsaw, or my favorite: some form of gun, that way no worries about getting hurt yourself unless they have guns.
