well i am trying to create straight cliffs like in the diablo 3 warcraft 3 map

but its not working..

instead of :

which i try to create like in de diablo 3 wc3 map
i get:

dint know that there was a hack for it..

and I am already using Plateau..

Open View attachment MiscData.txt and find this:

// Maximum slope in degrees, (86+ will disable slope limits)
MaxSlope=60

Modify it to be 86 or whatever, take an empty folder named UI in the War3 directory and put the modified MiscData inside.

what would i do if im using newgen in an entirely different folder? >.> the folder is on my desktop btw....

this is the solution i found using search but it dint work.

Why would it matter where your folder is? Mine is on desktop too. You make a folder in Warcraft 3 called UI. Then you add the downloaded misc data there and vola. 86 degree slops.

but i have two separate folders... i have the normal wc directory (crogram files:wc3 ect.), but i also have the newgen dled on the desktop... i never use anything but it... would it matter if it was in that newgen folder or the old one? or does newgen run from files in the old direcroty?

Wc3 directory should be in Program Files. New Gen can be anywhere. Doesn't matter how many you have for wahtever reason, NewGen could be anywhere you want it too because it searches wc3 directory.

so this does not go into my map.w3x but just inside a folder??

i added it inside my map.w3x using mpq editor.. but well sounds that i made a mistake using it then ..

You create folder in your wc3 directory called UI and put the misc data there. No need for imports.
