What's it do when it restarts?

The whole computer restarts, and ill have to wait (Even if its no long time anymore, but still ). And ill have to do everything ive done, again. Like everything i did the session before it restarted it self.

Yeah but does it just start shutting down or does it give you a message like The system will shut down in 60 seconds due to some error?

And your power supply might not be sufficient. Like right now mine's going bad and not producing enough power and it does weird things.

Did you format after your upgrade?

Shouldn't matter really, as if it was a OS error, it would show an error screen before restarting, like a BSOD.

Like Varine said, it may be your power supply. Make sure it's pushing enough juice to support all your hardware.

The screen goes black and it restarts in like 1 sec. And ive formatted my computer, becouse the motherboard wouldnt work else. I got a Power Supply For 450 W i think, just bought it. Really dont got any extra cash right now, so ill have to wait untill i get some.

Formatting has to do with the hard drive.

How much power is coming from the wall outlet?

Not the hard drive, you'll format it when you put the OS on. Either NTSF or whatever that acronym is or FAT something.

If it was RAM then generally it just crashes the programs I think. Not sure, though, since everytime I've had issues with RAM my computer just doesn't start because it can't load.

I had a RAM issue once, and was getting BSODs. That was on an older computer though.

Are you sure 450W is enough for all those hard disks you have? :p

okay, im not sure if the power is enough, but my friend has a similiar problem and hes computer is original built, with no "mods" "adds" "upgrades". And hes power should be totally okay but still his also restarts. And im not sure if the power is good enough for mine but, dont know really what to do. The RAM was okay.

im really getting sick of this :banghead: :(

I see exactly one (internal 250GB) harddisk in there, the other one being external (USB 700GB). 450W are more than enough for that configuration, as long as it's stable. Reference: my Q9450 with 4 internal disks eats about 133W.

You should definitely run that memory test and check vital values of your (new?) system while it is under load (use some burn-in tool together with hardware monitoring that comes with your mainboard). It is cooled properly, isn't it?

Cooled properly ofcourse, ive got 2 extra FANs 1 that i took from my old CPU cooler, and 1 custom. And they are properly installed etc. The thing that i didnt understand how to do is the checking of vital values of my new syster (yes). if u could give me direct "how to ( for dummies ) " like a guide it would help alot. Thanks.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
