    No it works both ways. Both of them have a starting and ending AoE. By defualt shockwaves starting and ending is 125; carrion swarms is 125 to 300 or something like that (which is why it has a 2 second longer cooldown and is 10 more mana).

    If you don't want to stun simply use the Warden's Shadow Strike. Put 0 for decay damage and set the duration for how long you want the slow to be.

    The damage artiliary does is just it's damage type; in most cases it is seige. The fact that it has the attack type (artiliary) won't change this the way it deals damage. It will behave in the same ways of other attack types (missle) (melee) (bounce) and so on.

    Igor Z; your code should work but don't you need to pause the unit before moving it, then unpausing after moving it.. Otherwise the cooldown won't fire and no mana will be charged.

    Phoenix fire based ability lag problem

    Burning nearby enemies; doing damage over time. If the lag doesn't occur without the ability, then it IS the ability and there is apparently nothing you can do about it. Firing 100 times a second is a lot, but the fact that the lag stockpiles up doesn't seem like it would be the ability...

    Why not have a dummy unit cast druken haze with no area of effect onto the casting hero that lasts the duration you want. Edit: Do as Exide said; curse would be better.
