Sci/Tech Chinese Say They're Building 'Impossible' Space Drive

China has the potential to make quality items, especially in closed circles where bribery is much less likely. I wouldn't completely underestimate them. As Sevion said, this is effectively free power in any region of space we might want to go to in the future. This, I like. And it beats...

Technology Google to Release Open-Source 'Chrome' Browser

What I would like most is a hybrid of Chrome and Firefox- both have good features, and I like the Firefox logo more.

Report Global warming may increase kidney stones

    1. A lot of scientists have reached that conclusion, and since all scientists reach different conclusions, to quote, then this must be quite the case. 2.We are a big factor on Earth. As you've said, the dinosaurs never had cars. 6,707,000,000 humans. By just being humans we can have a...

Report Global warming may increase kidney stones

I remember a quote from NPR. "The reason Global Warming is so dangerous is not that it is a fast, deadly, and potent force. It is in fact, dangerous, for precisely the opposite reasons."

Report Global warming may increase kidney stones

I can't believe how retarded this article is. Its not like this will be all that serious- to prevent, you listen to your instincts and drink more water. How hard can it be! No matter how serious global warming is, it is a trend, it is slow. Single Digit Degree changes happen over a period of...

Sci/Tech Life in outer space? Japan astronomers hunt aliens

And, if not destroy all, part, or none of them, at least we would blow ourselves up in a tremendous middle finger salute. Simple rule of thumb: Now, there is a case where the two species will be evenly matched. In other words, it is either too expensive to have a war, or neither species...

Sci/Tech Artificial tornado plan to generate electricity

This is sort of a questionable technology, but it does have it's Pros. I mean, really what else are you going to do with the heat produced in your toaster?

Environment Energy Guzzled by Al Gore’s Home in Past Year Could Power 232 U.S. Homes for a Month

I like how the article made the statistic 232 homes for a month instead of 19.3 homes per year. I also find the quote... ...incredibly sleezy. Whatever the circumstances, he has done a lot against global warming, even if it was just a money making thing for him. Hell, this entire thing...

Sci/Tech Exponential Technologies: Cheer Up World—We Are On the Verge of Great Things

I'll be willing to put one hundred solar panels on in 5 years we will not have cost-competitive solar panels.

    Sci/Tech It's a Bus. It's a Train. It's Both!

Buses almost always have an economic advantage, simply because they transport more people with less. Although the aerodynamic shape is rather interesting. I'm not the most knowledgeable about cars, but the drive train is the power source that the wheels tap into, correct? If you mean...

Crime Video game linked to fatal shooting of 15-year-old

Another fine example of one (or maybe two!) retarded (or otherwise mentally impeded) kid(s) who happen to play videogames (almost like everyone else in the world) killing each other, and of course it is blamed on videogames. I just took the first three comments from the article.

[Sci/Tech] NASA Baffled by Unexplained Force Acting on Space Probes

Even if the sun were to become a black hole, it would lose some mass in the process. Which means no matter how compact it is, it will still have less gravitational force. That does make sense, ESB. If the spacecraft was lighter or heavier then predicted, then the trivial difference would...

Health Father regains sight thanks to son's tooth

Why they have to use a tooth I cannot imagine. The procedure uses the tooth as... casing... for the lens. Why a tooth? Everything else makes moderate sense.

    Mystica ORPG (Clean Thread)

Well, I don't think a trader should be a totally non-combat class, I mean, this game is filled with monsters. For you to kill. Not being able to kill stuff is like not playing the game :banghead:

    Mystica ORPG (Clean Thread)

Equal to warrior as in, in extremely late game, he would have enough gold to buy better weaponry then the warrior is one example, but thats not going to bridge the gap. One way might be mercenaries, but I will think of something if Knights doesn't like the mercenaries idea. :P.

    Mystica ORPG (Clean Thread)

Not necessarily weaker, just having a totally different style of combat, which, when used correctly, can equal a warrior class. Does it sound okay Knights?

    Mystica ORPG (Clean Thread)

Have you considered making a trade class, as in a player that is more likely to find items, can buy things for a cheaper price, and can do jobs or have access to quests and such? I can imagine several combat abilities for a character such as that, as well as non-combat ones.

    Mystica ORPG Returns!

Have you considered using knockback spells for any of the classes? For example... Ranger Spell: Brute Shot: A large flat headed, long bullet that will hit the enemy with enough force to blast him back, up to several feet depending on the distance from the sharpshooter and the armor of the...
