I'm trying to make an ability for a hero that will do say, 100 base damage + 15% of the heroes health.
Also, is it possible for units to 'resist' part of an ability? (A unit casts an ability that does 500 damage - the unit hit by this ability resists some of the damage only doing 200 damage...
I've been looking for a while on the editor and can't seem to find an 'Increase size of unit / decrease size of unit' mechanic, was one actually made? If so could someone tell me where it is :D

I've seen alot of spells on WCIII maps that go along the lines of :-
Random spell
Inflicts 20 damage times amount of intellect.
Also could this also be done similarly to the mana cost of a spell?
E.G - Random spell costs 10% of mana

I'm trying to make an ability that will work like this :-
Skeleton warrior gets a critical strike.
The person who got critical striked gains a buff (Based off disease) for 20 seconds.
Not really sure how to make the buff apply when Skeleton warrior critical strikes.

I've made a boss that will occasionally cast 'Polymorph' throughout the fight. Problem is, I don't want him using Polymorph on the on the person that he is attacking (i.e the tank).
