1v1 maps

Hey guys, thanks for answering my questions in other threads. You guys are help.

Anyway I have a question that has been in my mind for quite some time, and that I know does not belong here, but this is forum is visited by the most people by far.
I have been working on a 1v1 map for some months now, and I am nearing completion. So: do people even play 1v1 maps? or am I just wasting my time?

Plz post your opinion and if you personally would play a good 1v1 map.

I think that it's more fun if there are more people but in games where it's more about playing and you just want to talk with a friend and play at the same time then it would be a great game.
