Abilities not going on buildings?

I based an ability off of Devotion Aura and gave it to a custom building I made based off a scout tower.. but it doesn't appear that the building has the ability..

what could be wrong here? I'm kind of confused...

Try giving the same devotion aura to a unit and see if the unit has it. This will rule out a number of possibility that could be wrong with the ability its self.

Let me try it real quick.

Edit: It works perfectly fine for me, to be honest I am not sure whats wrong. Try giving the custom devotion aura to a preset building, and if that doesn't solve anything try it the other way around.

I figured it out

I changed the Unit Classification to Ward because I wanted it to be targeted as a ward..

That is what caused the problem..

I have it now only "Targeted As" a ward.. not unit classification: ward

that fixes it
