Anarchist vs nationalist.

Nationalism could never work for extended time. Not even during war.
In WWII, do you think the soldiers of enemy countries hated each other?
For example Germans and French sat together to play cards, when there wasn't shooting going on.
They were taught that they are superior.
Yet after so much shooting, and pain, it just doesn't matter. That guy too is a human. That guy too has a family at home. That guy too is going crazy by the suffering of the war.
When we have to shoot at people, we do, we must.
But we are the same.

You know, nationalism doesn't imply ethnocentrism.
Heck, even ethnic nationalism doesn't.
It just means you're bound to your group and aren't part of someone elses.
That doesn't necessarily mean you believe you're inherintly superior.

but thats the buety of humanity, even if you disagree with some people, theres allways others you agree with.

it was simply that anarchy can be considered a union, of people, who have the same similar belief about government.

while nationalism is not a direct opposite, it gets close enough to be one.

both of these systems rely on people with the same interest, in a nationalist society, everyone is banded togethar, in a anarchist union, everyone tends to be united in one way or another (notice the one way or another)!

It's not that it "sucks crap" or that its weak.. It's just too volatile to be a reliable form of government. That's why democracy is awesome.

It's based on the fact that everybody disagrees about everything. Bureaucracy assures that things cannot happen too fast and no one has too much power. Ouila! The most stable form of government.

we could come up with more stable, some one just needs to think it up .

not to say that democrocy isn't good, its amazingly good, just has a few flaws.

As if there are tons of parties, and the one who gets the most votes gets 20%; what about the other 80%? I would say it has major flaws.

Wasn't it some british guy who said that democracy is the worst of all form of government; except all the others?

Democracy has failed everywhere, and is failing right now (in hand with capitalism).

At some places there's to much capitalism ruling in society, yes, I do agree. In other countries there's far too little capitalism. Lagom, just the right amount of something, is the best in the most cases.

i find that in a anarchist world it could verry well be an eye for an eye.

There is one huge flaw with the eye for an eye thing. Revenge is a never ending chain, revenge for revenge. Let's say you kill my wife in some dispute, so I kill you or your wife in revenge. If I killed your wife, would you stand for that? Or would your wife stand for you being killed? Anarchy would not work. It would never work. Civilization would fall apart and we would revert to something worse than the dark ages. Ever since the dawn of man there have been forms of government, leaders in tribes or groups etc.

Nationalism isn't exactly something you can compare to anarchy, it's basically an ideal that your nation is superior all the other nations. It's similar to patriotism, look it up.

No it's not. What's failing is the gradual conversion to socialism.

In order for these other theoretically perfect systems to work you have to eliminate greed. Like communism, someone is going to figure out that they don't really need to work that hard because they won't get anything better. So then you basically have to say work or we'll kill you, which is a pretty good motivator I think, but then people don't like that because they work their ass off and don't get anything more than the guy that doesn't do shit and probably less than the guy that shoots him if he doesn't work.

I personally think that we need to begin instituting child labor to keep up with production of nations such as India and China.

Whatever... the kid works or I work, and I vote for the kid. Get it out of the way early, that way when they grow up they can aspire to be the whipping man and will know the best places to go for.

Neither end of the spectrum works. The best we can accomplish is a median somewhere in between. Capitalism is the best we can really do. We just have to keep hammering away, new laws to fight political corruption etc. But personally, I don't give a shit. My government is good enough, it allows me to pursue what I want to do. That's all I need.

In a long time from now, Capitalism may go the way of Monarchy, about extinct.

I would hate being in an Anarchy country. There would be a lot of killing. We would be going to the caveman days.
When you think about it, this world is an Anarchy with each nation a person. Then you see all the chaos.
