Attachment Issue

Well, after reading some tutorials about attachments I thought I would give it a shot. Everything about my attachments works fine, except that my attachment always "kills" the part in slot 1 (all other slots do not "die") on attacking. By "kill" I mean the attachment acts as if it died. Then, after dieing, it comes back, but is killed again when I attack with the unit whom has the attachment. Image below is the data of the attachment (based off of sphere). Thanks in advance.
