Attraction to locked threads?

I seem to be drawn to the little lock symbol, makes me wanna read it.

Anyone else like this or is it just me?

I'll read those 5 page long locked threads, then try to reply.

But it's locked! silly me.

Yep, if its been locked its becuase something bad is in it usually so you have to see why. Lock a thread if you want more people to see it i guess.

Reading this long interesting thread. My mind is constantly remembering the posts so I can quote when replying to them. Then reach the end and.....LOCKED! Makes me feel kind of stupid.

That's why we delete everthing of interest before we lock a thread. You can't imagine all the details you miss

Anyways, I read locked threads from time to time as well, though I get to read everything, in which case I see why it was aptly and smartly locked

I almost always read those locked threads, they actually do seem more interesting than the rest out there. Especially if the last poster was Seth, he usually makes a nice comment before closing

Actually, I typically don't close many threads. I just happen to be able to post in locked threads and feel that my opinion deserves voicing

I usually do the exact same thing ABCs. There are usually really high amounts of emotions in those threads and are interesting to read.

Humans LOVE drama. A Locked thread usually means there's been some sort of drama, thus your attracted to see what the drama in the thread was about.

It's not spamming, until you said that. We are talking about why we are attracted to locked topics, maybe you should read up a few posts.
