autocast

i have got 2 buildings, the first one upgrades to the second, and the second have the spell raise dead (modified)

if i build the second building with my builder it will turn the spell into autocast by default, but if i upgrade it from the first i have to right click it, very annoying

what i want is to make the raise dead skill go into autocast when i upgrade the first building

any ideas?

yeah, do it through triggers,

Auto Cast Raise Dead
    Events
        Unit - A unit Finishes research
    Conditions
        (Unit-type of (Triggering unit)) Equal to Guard Tower
    Actions
        Unit - Order (Triggering unit) to Undead Necromancer - Activate Raise Dead

something like that (not sure if it works though, it's just to inspire you

yeah now i see my mistake xD i made instead of "finished research" i made "finished construction"

In the object (unit) editor at the ability fields there is a line with default active ability.
Get yours.

it's easy to make active ability...Faust is right...
