Beserk Doesnt work.

Sorry ment Berserk , cant edit titles
I was trying to create a sprint ability using berserk and when I give it to a unit the buff shows up but no casting animation or special effect happens .. or even the attributes.

Since it didnt work I tried opening a new map and putting it on a custom unit thinking maybe it was just my map ... same problem ..

Something wrong with the spell? :banghead:

You could of edtited some data from the acaul spell that made it not fire not sure check the spell data. becaouse if the buff shows up then the ability is def there

yea but i tried opening a new map and testing it.. I dont get it

Berserk is like windwalk, it can be casted while doing a different action.

actually it is working, just it has no special effect and for some reason movement spell isnt working on it.. I made movement speed 100 instead of 0.20 and he doesnt change pace..


I've tried Scroll of Haste too, no result either ... is movement speed bugged?

It's based on percentage. 2.00 = 200%. Change it to 0.20 (if that was what you were going for.)

I ment it is .20 by default.. but when I change it to 2.0 or even an insane 100.0 the pace isnt any different on the unit

Are you sure you're not editing the Attack Speed?

There is a limit on how fast a unit can move. Make sure you're not hitting that limit.

Cant be cause I opened a brand new map and took a footman giving him the same ability and no speed increase was visible.

Ah, well summoned you did cause me to check out the unit properties and your right.. Unit is set on 400 ... but there is no max speed set... its now 552 so there is an increase.. thx now I need to figure out how to make it cast a special effect since berserk isntworking .
