Blink trigger and damage types.

So I made a custom ability off of blink, well its working a little too well, every time the unit blinks into a 500.00 aoe of anything, allied or enemy, it kills it and takes damage as well. In addition, what are the differences between making the damage type fire,ice,lightning, plant, mind, etc.

If I remember correctly, very little. This may have been something that Blizzard implementing thinking that they would actually do something with it, and ended up not doing anything with it.

It might have something to do with how often it hits certain armor types, but I doubt it.
