My Attempt at a Campaign Map :D

Creator: Monsterous
Editor: Denmax

Storyline: You are The Lost Marine, you have crash-landed in an unknown Polar Area (Northerend) and must find a way to your Comrades and Escape this Planet.

Players: 1

Map One: Search
Map Two: Seas of Anger
Cinematic: Flashback One (How you crash landed)
Map Three: Assassinate
Map Four: Landing
Cinematic: Flashback Two (What happened before you Crash Landed)
Map Five: Component Retrieval
Map Six: Gem of Memories
Map Seven: Rescue Mission
Cinematic: Flashback Three (Who you truly are)
Map Eight: The Final Push

The way i have done it is kind of a "Realistic" way... For instance Ghouls have 1 HP and Big units have lots (Say Abom for 700 due to there size)
The Marine has 30hp and 100 dmg.
I'm adding Upgrades so you can make your Rifle Faster... More powerful etc.
That WAS My plan on how to do it. But Of course you can make me change it :p

When i DO Finish it... Ill let you Download and play it (Obviously)
And that may take a while :banghead:

Update: Landing Idea has been thought of and is underway... About 85% done. Damn this is really long...

Map Three: Assassination is Complete!!!
Progress: Map Four: Landing is on its way.

Hmm... what do you think?

Map Two (All the other maps increase in number)

Escape: A Sea level where you must evade enemy Ships to reach the Shore.

That way you go to Azeroth itself for some of the Other maps or other ideas :rolleyes:

I like the idea about Escape the sea level .. well , i also like the whole thing with the Lost Marine .. please if i can be to any help or make the map with you or something just tell me ..

Theese are my strong mid and low points in world editor:

Triggering , Idea's , Heroes , Units , Abilities , Items .. so on

MIDDEL:

Terraining , Moddeling , Cinematic

LOW:

Evrything else .. :p

And another thing .. if you are interrested .. we could make a little Team , just me and you .. well .. i know it sounds stupid but . i like your ideas and so ..

soo then we could make campaign and so together ? ;)

Q: Does the Undead units reincarnate?

Q: Is it possible that you have friendlies?

Q: If you mean by "realistic", do you have to survive by eating/drinking?

Q: Is there any "flashlight" graphics when at night? (Meaning: Will you use a flashlight at night?)

Q: Do we get stuff from killing?

Q: If Q1 is true, is there a bullet that burns these kind of units?

Q: At where you are stranded, is it near a village or town or something?

Q: Are bullets reloaded?

Q: Can you switch from Laser Pulse Rifle to a Rusty but Sharp Dagger (or Kris)?

Prepare for more questions..

Q1: Nope. Maybe SOME but not all.
Q2: You have Friendlies, one of the quests to get out of Northerend is to help some humans...
Q3: Yes :D
Q4: Ill say he has Night Vision Contact Lenses.
Q5: Not ALL Stuff... But you can get items from quests.
Q6: The problem is... The little units have 1 hp, but the big units have 700+ So no not really. But i guess i could add a "Burn" Effect.
Q7: Nope. Your completely stranded, but you ARE near an Undead base and a Human Outpost.
Q8: Nope. Im not THAT Advanced. Ill say its an Automatic gun and the bullets keep being created through Nanite Technology.
Q9: Yes. (Edit): Ive figured out how and he dosent get one to start with. But eventualy he change between melee weapons (Hopefully) and Ranged Weapons (Hopefully)

Hope those answers cleared your mind.

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
