Heres is an ability i want to make but have no idea how help?


INFERNO ARROW OF THOUSAND SUNS: The god of the Sun Re(Ra) send his power to Ren giving him the power to use his most powerful shot. The Inferno Ranger shouts a shot that explodes and deals intense damage and stuns well a fire storm crushes him from above

Level 1 - Stuns 2 seconds and deal 250 damage AoE 800
Level 2 - Stuns 3 seconds and deal 350 damage AoE 800
Level 3 - Stuns 4 seconds and deal 450 damage AoE 800

Anything idea or if you feel like you could make please do

Is this the type of ability that shoots an arrow that travels until it collides with a target, or does it have a 100% chance to hit (like storm bolt)?

If it is the latter, I would base it off of storm bolt, and wait every .1 seconds until the (Target Unit of ability being cast) has the buff Stunned* equal to true. When the conditions are met, create a dummy unit and order it to Undead Dreadlord - Inferno the position of the target unit of ability being cast. The custom inferno ability has 1.5/2.5/3.5 stun duration, and deals 250/350/450 damage. It also has only a .1 second delay. The original storm bolt has a 1 second stun.
-->set the level of Inferno for Last Created Unit to Level of Ability Being Cast for Triggering Unit.


*Or whatever buff storm bolt gives.

i believe using the dread lord's ultimate would be easy for this situation, unless you want to have a homing missile like fireblades said

K, that's a lot harder, heh...

2 questions:
Do you want the spell to be MUI?
Do you know how to slide units already?
I'll edit this post upon hearing your answer.

Yes i have been working in GUI and MUI and dont know much about jass,
i do not know how to slide a unit if you could help i would like to learn

you can make a spell based on cluster rockets and select it to fire 1 missile
and stun for duration u want.
just change:
Data - Damage Amount : (damage u want)
Data - Missile Count : 1
Duration - Hero/Normal : (your stun duration)
Art - Missile Art : (model of your arrow)

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
