Casting Spell at Bad Times

Just out of curiosity, is there a way to ensure that a spell is cast only when directed by triggers? I'm working on making some AI via triggers for a boss unit in the map I'm making, and usually it works, but sometimes they'll cast the spell whenever they feel like it. This usually happens when they're near death.

Are there any quick and easy ways to make sure that they'll cast it only when they're supposed to?

Have the abilities you want already on the unit and then remove them when they spawn. In your triggers add the ability and use it. When it finishes casting, remove the ability.

Yes there is, you just have to set the conditions for it.
For example:

Events-
Boss life becomes less than or equal to 50000
Condtions-
Actions-
Unit-Add War Stomp to Boss
Order Boss to Orc Tauren Chieftain-War Stomp
Remove War Stomp from Boss

This way you can control when he casts.

This way you can control when he casts.

This was the solution I independantly came upon, although I wish I would've read this beforehand- it would've saved me at least half an hour of attempting workarounds.

I just disabled the ability when the boss was made, and then enabled it only long enough to order him to use it, basically. Thanks for the help, though :)
