CD on Shadow Meld?

Is it possible to give the Night Elfs' racial ability "Shadow Meld" (in the WC3 campaign) a cooldown? I copy-pasted the ability and changed the cd to 10 seconds, but the cd wont trigger. Any ideas?

Maby add at shadow meld > stats - Cooldown - > xx ?
Try that? And make the duration?

Or use trigger,

Unit starts effect of abillity.

You could try triggering Shadow Meld yourself, and give the custom ability a cooldown.
But don't use Shadow Meld as the base ability.

Wait, I don't know, is Shadow Meld a passive ability?
In that case you can't give it a cooldown.
