Change Unit's Weapon

Is it possible to remove the weapon on a unit and replace it with another model? Thanks.

The unit has to be another model that holds no weapon.

And you'd need a weapon model to attach like a special effect.

I know how to add the new weapons but can't i remove the old ones with editting the model?

Just change the skin and delete its weapon. Like Illidan for example, change his sword to white so it couldn't be detected and attach the attachment!
