Cliffs made out of height and rock tile

Just wondering, How do people manage to make those cliffs our of height. They look really cool with the rock tile stretched out on it. I tried and i cant seem to make anything but a circle, and even when i do that its not high enough and looks bad.
SO, what im trying to say is, can people please teach me some cliff making tactics? thanks.

Do you mean, they are not Blizzard Cliffs but just terrain raised or lowered?

You must put a special text into your Warcraft III Folder.

Make sure your terrain brush in the square size, not round. Otherwise I'm not sure quite exactly you are doing wrong. I have something similar to what I THINK you are talking about in my map, and it didn't require and external editing or "special text".
