Colors and the correct use of them ?

Like i only know the red color code

But when i use it all the text turns into red..
like :

Hey , i'm |c00990000AlExAlExAlEx nice to meet you

and turns into
Hey , i'm AlExAlExAlEx nice to meet you
--
But i want it to affect only AlExAlExAlEx like :
--
Hey , i'm AlExAlExAlEx nice to meet you

How can i "stop" it ?

To end it you have to enter another color code, a white one that time. But there's a shortcut: |r.

There are some coloring programs that make it real easy in newgen or there are some resources over at the hive
