Created a Spell, but its buff wont show. What gives?

The spell is based off of Trueshot Aura and the hero I gave it to is a ranged hero (dont know if that mattered or not, i gave it to range hero anyway so it should be fine even if melee/range did matter ...)

I created a buff for this ability and linked it to the ability itself. I gave the ability to the hero and I only see the ability (its a passive) but the buff doesnt appear...

Targets Allowed: Self, Friend, Ground, Neutral, Vulnerable

Aura buffs don't appear on the unit that has the aura ability

actually, they do, spawn a tyrande and make it learn trueshot aura, look.

Does the buff appear on other units?

like marvey said, no
try removing self, this often buggs it up, OR copy the targets allowed from trueshot aura, unless they are the normal targets allowed, I just wasted 25-50 characters.
