Critical Strike *animation* ?

Hi, nab question maybe but still..

Im back to try to make a map (and try to not fail again), anyway, i have a critical strike spell, lets say its 20% to do 150% dmg. but i want on the animation when crit HITS it should come Warstorm on the enemy, but i cant get it to work? help plz

Can you be clearer? I don't understand what you mean.
You want to detect when a critical strike is performed?

So instead of your hero having the numbers popup and the hero kinda jump when they do crit strike, you want to add an animation like whenever they crit strike they do the animation of Bladestorm?

change the animation strings to spin walk something else, the bladestorm animation

I don't think you can detect a critical hit if the whole spell is not custom made.

omfg, im sorry to say this and/or if i insult anyone but are you guys morons? Critical Strike typically uses Attack slam animation. HOWEVER in the first part of the spell there a wonderfully magicall built in thing thats called aani(AKA-Art-Animation Name) this is the most simple thing to change seriously.... just change it to the path that blademaster uses for his bladestorm(AttackWalkSpin) all in seperate new strings. like 1-Attack then next string under that Walk etc...etc...

its an animation string thats default is attack slam. Change the aani and you change animation................. thats what he was asking for ¬¬

Mmhmm...it's kinda simple to understand, I JUST started map editing and I knew what he wanted.

umm im not sure but i think you should type- 'Attack Walk Stand Spin' in the animation thing exactly like that and also in the buff section for your spell put bladstorm (caster). i think that should do it

Yo i was out last night, so, every1 is writing different and i dont get how the heck u mixed in "bladestorm", can some1 clearify?

ME -hit-> ENEMY (CRITICAL), enemy gets WARSTOMP* animation on him, looks like i hit so hard taht it makes that animation, every1 gets it now?

wow that is totally diff from your request..... you said change animation to bladestorm, for the warstomp you need a damage detection system and triggers. Or EDIT THE FREAKING ABILITY IT HAS ALL OF THIS BUILT IN. for christs sake, why is everyone sounding like such a moron to me nowadays... look through the damn fields and try to solve it yourself before you ask. sheesh

Out subject, what would be the name of the critical strike on bm?
when he jumps in the air.?

Edit: I meant the name of the animations.

Calm down. He requested the Warstorm animation, he just made a typo. There's a two letter difference between War StoMP and War StoRM

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
