Custom map error, No player slots

Hi I've been working on a map in WEU and when I optimize it with Vexorians map optimizer, (since its too large to play without it), it won't show any player slots in TFT. The map still shows when I load TFT but when I click it once, theres no players to be, its just completely blank. Has anyone else run into this problem? I've searched a while and haven't been able to find any solution to this. Thanks

Do you know how to add players slots in the first place?
Top menu in editor > Scenario > Player properties...

If you did that, take a screenshot of the problem?

I did add players, it has them, but when I try loading the map in TFT it shows no players. It's pretty basic yet really problematic.

Here's an image if it helps at all, I had to crop and resize a bit since the original image was way over the maximum size imageshack would allow.

I have seen a map do that before, but I can't remember what the problem was.

Upload the map? Let someone here look at it? Sure it is a .w3x file? or w3m...
Tried replacing start locations?
Sure there are start locations? Sure there is only 1 start location per player?

I'm still in the middle of working on it and I'd rather wait till its all nice n finished, I'll try doing what you said.

EDIT: I think messing around with the start locations too much might have caused this from working with them recently. thx for the reminder.

Well this sure sucks, after re-editing the map still has the same problem. I'm at a lost what to do..Has anybody else encountered this same problem when map editing?

So what if it is not finished? I am not going to play it, nor look at it, just fix the error for you? No matter what it takes! :p
So... do it! Yes, seen the error before, but as already said (not by me though), cannot remember how I fixed it, therefore I ask for the map. Also, does it work if you do not optimize it with Vexorians Optimizer?

On a side note: try not to double post.

Sorry for the double post. Here's the map. You'll notice it looks alot like DotA, and yes, it does because I based it off of a template from it, which is why I was hoping I could fix it on my own :rolleyes:, but I'm trying to make a custom AoS map with it's own little bits, anyways thanks for any help.

that reminds of what happens when A a map is hacked or B it was made for RTc or w/e RTC being the program form the hive adding more stuff

I don't know what would be considered "hacked", if you mean an opened map of DotA used as a template to make people's own custom heroes/items/etc then it would be, although I have previous versions of it that worked before..

I don't know if this helps at all, but I have multiple versions of my map, 9.81, 9.82, etc. I have older versions that have been optimized that don't have this problem, yet now when I take the same version, unoptimized, optimize it, then test it, it gives the problem of showing no player slots. Maybe it's a setting in the world editor that effects all maps that are opened.

I know it's not Vex's optimizer because I have been always using the same settings as before when they worked. Hopefully that'll shed some light on this subject?

Don't know if its too late, but same happens to me and the solution is to uncheck "Disable WE syntax checker", because wrong triggers make the map to "break" so i have to start one again.

I hope that works for you

Yes, this kind of a thing (WC3 now showing player slots) happens when a map has a syntax error in it. In other words, WEU in combination with Vexorian's Optimizer seems to be a bad idea i.e. Vexorian's Optimizer messed up something WEU added to your map. Try messing with different optimizer options and see if you can figure out which one causes it.
