Could someone explain this to me? Here's what I'm trying to do.
I was thinking about making an RPG/Quest type single player game for Star Craft II. I'm familiar with the Warcraft III editor, but somewhere along the line they lost me. In fact I've had to read tutorials to do even trivial things that were easily done with Warcraft III (though the triggers are way easier now).
This is what I need:
Some way to make several different variants of a model different skins, as any good RPG needs.
I already know how to extract with MPQ and edit with photoshop, and keep the file as a .dds.
Mainly, this is what I desire to know.
1. Save the files in a custom .SC2Assets. I don't want to mix my mod in with the vanilla game.
2. Make the same model use different textures on different units.
