WIP Dungeons of WoW

So, I was thinking of making like multiple maps and add the World of Warcraft Dungeons (1-70, if 80, I need someone who knows the level 80 instances because I quit WoW when WotLK was released). I need 1 important thing thats similar to Ragos ORPG, save/load codes on every map, like you start the first one and save it, then you can load it on the other map.

Well, heres the information.
First map i'm creating is gonna be for the alliance side.
Deadmines
Shadowfang Keep
Stockades

That will be the first map.

The things I need.
Save/Load like explained above for all the maps.
The spell book (like you hit the training icon and it comes to like each tree, for warriors like Protection or Fury or Arms).
Custom Models, Spells.

In need of.
Terrainer
Trigger Master

I can do some triggers as well as some terrain. I will be doing the units, heroes, and the hero selection process.

Multiple maps? Did you mean travel between different maps? I thought it can only be done in single player ??

no i think he means just multiple maps based on different dungeons, no traveling involved.

Well I'm always looking for work when it comes to triggers. Tell me what has to be done and I will look into it. I'm good with both GUI and vJass.

Ok, so I could still use some terrain people with skills. I am currently doing heroes and units, if anyone can start doing custom spells, please post your msn, aim, or email so I can give you the spell details! Progression Bar will be up soon. I might be taking away the Scarlet Monastery Maps and put in Shadowfang Keep and then later make a Scarlet Monastery Instance Map which includes only Scarlet Monastery instances. Well post have thanks! Oh and I will be making the hero tavern soon, but need the triggers done so whenever either of you guys can get to it, that would be GREAT!

Not to insult you or anything, but this seems like a rather large project for a beginner.

Maybe you should start with something smaller?

Its a shame, but a lot of the projects started here are never finished.

Yeah, I know most of the stuff. I'm just not good at terraining and I can do some triggers, but to make the map good, I want a triggerer who is really good. I got most of the heroes done right now, just finishing up. Still need help.

People who joined a month ago and got 0-3 posts and no rep is usally considered beginners. This might of course be a wrong assumption. However, in most cases, it's not.

First of all, about the alliance side dungeons, shadowfang keep is not alliance... thats horde. My advice: scrap sfk, and do gnomeregan! and so these are going to be 5 man dungeons? I thought up a game like this one... except it wasnt based of wow dungeons. they were dungeons from wow, but completely different with new heroes (ie 6 dps choices, 3 healer choices, 3 tank choices) but those were just ideas that you could use.

1. Shadowfang Keep is considered both because Paladins have a quest in there.
2. Gnomeregan - if you want to terrain in I dont care haha, but i'm surely not doing anything for that instance. I hate it!
3. Beta will have only 5 characters: 1 Dwarf Warrior (Protection), 1 Human Priest (Holy), 1 Human Mage (Fire), 1 Human Warlock (Affliction/Demonology), and 1 Night Elf Rogue (Sword Spec Combat)

Ok then seeing as for the Alliance map your not going to have raids.. maybe Stratholme or Scholomance?

Well, if you read the post you would find out that I'm just doing starter instances in my first map, then work my way up to level 70 instances and maybe 80. Yes, I will be making raids such as Naxx, Ony, BWL, Kara, SSC, TK and other fun stuff.

Wow (<<< xD) this seems like a good idea, and I didn't know it was possible to have a cross map save and load, and are we going to start at level 16 or something?
Also, will the instances just be the instances or the area around it too? (Like out side Deadmines but it's still called Deadmines)

Not a big fan of turning WoW into Wc3 but you do what you think is fun.
(I am a WoW player so no it's not that I don't like that)

If could be funny if the some systems were to be implemented:

Threat for the tank. (sooo needed for any map that wants to imitate WoW)

Item Attachments. Not on all weapons but on the non-generic loot such as, when you get there, Sulfuras (Which I know there's as good model for), it's just a nice thing to see if a player has played the map alot etc.

Custom Attribute system, with the real WoW stats.


Can't think of anymore atm, but make sure Bossfights are more than tank 'n' spank (even though early bosses in wow are).

    Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though

    I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work

    Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm

    So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man

    I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.

    Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart

    Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
