The thunderstorm did have a plus: the radio commentary we got in the UK instead of a live picture was far more exciting than the TV commentators.

I think Turkey played very well though and were deserving of a spot in the Semis. I'm glad Germany scored though 'cos I don't think I could stand to sit through another bout of extra time and penalties

Germany's goals were much better than Turkey's were.

And now, I want Spain to win. If Spain reach the final, then both of the teams I said would get through will have done it
