Extra loading screen.

In some maps some games have a nice little extra loading screen.

Where do they place triggers for that in?

How does it work?

And is meant to allow the computer to catch up to the game?

I've seen it in risk and uther party.

You need to explain what you are actually looking for. Using examples from specific games isnt recommended around here, because most people won't know what you are talking about...

My guess would be that it is just a cinematic sequence at the beginning of the game.

The only other thing I can think of is if you are referring to the 'load-in game' feature that Ghost++ uses

I believe it's that.

It comes right after the main load screen.

Your in game and you see another progress bar.

I think what he is refering too is the Splat function (which i think in in the cinematic menu), in which you can load a picture ingame. im not sure of the triggering and cant check cos im at work, but that will display pictures, you will have to import the picture tho.
