fake in-game minimap

Camera Bounds

I set the camera bounds to a specific region. However, the minimap is not bounded with it. I don't want to replace it with a black minimap. I know this can be done (ET map and uther party has this)

I have 2 islands and I set a camera bound to one of those islands. However, the minimap won't bound. how do you take a fake in-game minimap and display it in the game? Also, I need a trigger or jass that switches minimaps.

There is no way to alter the minimaps boundaries, as far as I know.

There is a way, just don't remember it, let me do some research.

PS: They did it in Uther Party.

Don't think you can switch the minimap ingame. You can, however, change the actual minimap, by importing a file in order to override the original minimap.

you could create a black mask over the island, i think thats how it works

The best you could do is set the game minimap and apply a camera.

Other than that, I suggest black mask or a custom image.

hmmm.. is there a trigger that can automatically enable "toggle minimap terrain" so that it's all black and turn off "toggle minimap terrain", so it can't be switched?

D.K. you can only disable 2 minimap buttons, they are minimap creep camps, and ally color mode. if such a trigger existed it would be under game.
