Few problems with editor

First problem
I had some custom icon to skills and items. I put them in ReplaceableTextures\CommandButton, import them and I got both BTN* and DISBTN* but they still appears in green when they can't be learned(for skills) or bought(items), why?

Second problem
The random function doesn't random.
Ex:
With the -random command, I ALWAYS got a 11...it's not a random number it's a 11
I made a skill where explosions occurs at random location around caster, but they are ALWAYS at the EXACT SAME PLACE and IN THE SAME ORDER...so WHY doesn't it random

1. Are you sure you typed out the path correctly? I Imported the BTN first then DISBTN which worked for me. Make sure the paths are correct. You might have to re-import some icons just to make them work.

1: Make sure that it's in BLP format and that they are sized correctly (64x64) and it isn't currently overwriting some other button. Also make sure the art - learn icon or whatever is set as well as the art - icon.

2: Post your random trigger.

2. File>Preferences>Test Map

Untick "Use fixed random seed".

With "test map" random is not necessarily all that random.
It depends on File / Preferences / Test map, where you want to uncheck "use fixed seed".

In game or on bnet, the usual rule applies:
If random fails to meet your expectations, it is random indeed.

The imported files has the same name?
Exemple:
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtonsDisabled\DISBTNFile.blp (tga)
ReplaceableTextures\CommandButtons\BTNFile.blp (tga)
