I based a passive ability on it and put % bonus to - true

The numbers I get are wierd.

I tried at first 0.25 for 25% and I didn't get that
so I tried 25 and now that was way to much
tried 2.5 ... still not getting exacly 25%

Anyone know how to correct this?

First, what is Defiance Aura?
Second, exactly what is the base ability? (Endurance Aura, Brilliance Aura, Unholy Aura, etc)
Third, what is it supposed to do?

Anyway. 0.25 is supposed to be 25%. (0.x is 1/10 and 0.0x is 1/100)
2.5 would be 250% and 25 would be 2500%

There is no such thing as Defiance Aura, so I am not sure what you are talking about. Are you talking about Devotion Aura? You can't do Armor Percentage (%) in WC3.

.25 would = .25 of an Armor Point.

Edit: ^ Haha, posted at same time.

Yeah Armor from what I know cannot be modded by percent, only a whole value.

my bad yeah I mean Devotion aura XD

ok ty for the answer

got an other question now, do you know why:

-if a unit is buffed with frost armor, and gain devotion aura via trigger, he will lose is frost armor buff
-but then, if he get the devotion aura first, and gain frost armor after, both will stay there.

%-Devotion-Aura works, but the problem is, that it only works on base armor.
Try it with some none-hero-units, the aura will give them the correct bonus.

You get false values for hero units, because the armor bonus from agility isn't counted for the % aura armor bonus.

For example, if your hero has 4 base armor and 20 armor from agility. Then a 25%-armorbonus-devotion-aura would only give 1 armor bonus, and not 6.

PS: The armor bonus from items isn't counted either.

/edit: lol yeah, devotion, not endurance ^^

@meOme: its devotion aura not endurance aura. the aura you mentioned is giving attack and movement speed bonus.

however what you said about the devotion aura % bonus effect is true. it does only count for the base armor you entered in the object editor. it doesnt even work for upgraded armor bonus.

you said 'if its gained via trigger', please show us the trigger cause i am pretty damn sure that devotion aura does not dispell anything.

Signatures can be edit in your account profile. As for the old stuffs, I'm thinking it's because Blizzard is now under Microsoft, and because of Microsoft Xbox going the way it is, it's dreadful.

Crazy how much 3d printing has come in the last few years. Sad that it's not as easily modifiable though
  • Varine Varine:
I bought an Ender 3 during the pandemic and tinkered with it all the time. Just bought a Sovol, not as easy. I'm trying to make it use a different nozzle because I have a fuck ton of Volcanos, and they use what is basically a modified volcano that is just a smidge longer, and almost every part on this thing needs to be redone to make it work
  • Varine Varine:
Luckily I have a 3d printer for that, I guess. But it's ridiculous. The regular volcanos are 21mm, these Sovol versions are about 23.5mm
  • Varine Varine:
So, 2.5mm longer. But the thing that measures the bed is about 1.5mm above the nozzle, so if I swap it with a volcano then I'm 1mm behind it. So cool, new bracket to swap that, but THEN the fan shroud to direct air at the part is ALSO going to be .5mm to low, and so I need to redo that, but by doing that it is a little bit off where it should be blowing and it's throwing it at the heating block instead of the part, and fuck man
  • Varine Varine:
I didn't realize they designed this entire thing to NOT be modded. I would have just got a fucking Bambu if I knew that, the whole point was I could fuck with this. And no one else makes shit for Sovol so I have to go through them, and they have... interesting pricing models. So I have a new extruder altogether that I'm taking apart and going to just design a whole new one to use my nozzles. Dumb design.
  • Varine Varine:
Can't just buy a new heatblock, you need to get a whole hotend - so block, heater cartridge, thermistor, heatbreak, and nozzle. And they put this fucking paste in there so I can't take the thermistor or cartridge out with any ease, that's 30 dollars. Or you can get the whole extrudor with the direct driver AND that heatblock for like 50, but you still can't get any of it to come apart
  • Varine Varine:
Partsbuilt has individual parts I found but they're expensive. I think I can get bits swapped around and make this work with generic shit though
