good-quality Earbud headphones

well I spent some time on Newegg.com and google looking for some quality earbud headphones, but the problems that you cant trust the producer. I found some that sounded great, "full bass" apparently, then read a review on it saying that bass was completely absent. wtf?!

so I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions for good earbuds. I'm looking for just plain ones, nothing fancy, something I can wrap around my ipod and carry with me on the go.

Those "weird ones that go all inside your ears" have a far better sound and superior noise isolation.

There's no need to max out the volume on this model either, which comes with another advantage: the folks sitting at the other end of the bus/train/... don't have to listen to the acoustic noise you're calling "music".

I know they do, I just dont like them. I tried them, lost the rubber things within a day, and would have had to pay another dollar per rubber thing for new ones.

could I buy those generic iPod ones?

The Sennheiser MX5x0 is pretty good.

I do not recommend you to use the over the ear headphones if you are playing music in public -- it is VERY annoying to your neighbour.

I believe that apple makes a different type off headphones which u can change to fit in your ears and have quite good sound myself i would stick with apples headphones as they give pretty good sound and look good to.
