Hey sqrage, I was wondering if I could borrow your D3 account so that Sevion and I can play together. So far I've been using his account, but we'd like to be able to play together, haha.
It's not against the ToS as long as you don't make the account publicly available.

you sure that nothing is wrong with the quotes? I see 4 quotes in a row by 3 different users (you counted twice) that showed incorrectly

Whilst i may mostlikely be wrong; Reflecting is a light source bouncing off a surface. Emitting is coming from the surface.
But yeah, same result.

Reflecting it, emitting it, is there a difference? The end result is the same: light waves being picked up by your eyes.

well the average person blinks 12 times a minute regularly, but only 5 times a minute when watching a monitor - and the difference between watching a monitor or something else has more to do with the ratio of background light vs the light of what you are watching - your pupils will get smaller and let less light in if say you are outside and in bright sunlight, and there lets say you are watching a fire hydrant that reflects the same light as a monitor gives off - the difference is that when you are inside, you won't have as much background light as when you are outside in bright sunlight, so your pupils won't be as small, they will let more light in, (too much light), and thus cause damage - yes, you could argue that then it's not the monitor's fault, it's insufficient background light, but competing with the sun in terms of light.. well, you get the point - also most people tend to have their monitor's brightness too high, which is also another problem

Err if you see it then it's 'emitting' light.

bright monitors are bad for your eyes because you end up staring at them for extended periods of time (with less blinking then normal), which isn't "doing what optic nerves are supposed to do", they developed to look at non light-emitting objects
